Part of Berlin Science Week 2025

For one night only, six women scientists leave their labs and take the stage to share the stories behind the science: tales of struggle, resilience, and humanity that remind us how deeply connected we all are.

These are not lectures, but 8-minute true stories, told live and without notes, shaped with the support of theater-trained coaches from Female Speaking Berlin.

Our storytellers are part of the Falling Walls Female Science Talents network, a global community of exceptional scientists redefining leadership, impact, and inclusion. Most are flying to Berlin from around the world to attend the Falling Walls Conference, and for one night only, they’ll step out of the conference halls and onto the stage to share their personal stories.
