Hambre de Hambre (Hunger of Hunger) is a night of performances that examine the question of what is the body and what right does the body have to claim the self or the self to claim the body as their own? Through five distinct solos, the audience will experience selfhood dissolve and the borders between body and others come alive. Through butoh and contemporary performance, the performers will explore intimacy, love, ferocity, and ethereal connection. 

Offering a glimpse into the practices of performers Sofya Shaikut (butoh), Maria Nolé (butoh), Liliya Burdinskaya (contemporary), Zil Ricker (butoh), and Lulu (performance), the hunger of the body will come to claim its right to the stage, consuming the performers and the audience entwined.
