No Signal

NO SIGNAL by Valentin Tszin No Signal is an experimental performance by Butoh Performer Valentin Tszin and performance artist Qiyun Zheng. Inspired by the classic tv no signal icon, the performance manifests glitching bodies under the fragility of technology, seeking new ways to connect in the unconsciousness when cultural codes, languages, disciplines, and social rules fail.

Leading up to the performance, there is a series of workshops offered by Valentin Tszin and Qiyun Zheng at Theatre Pool. These workshops will deep dive into both of their practices and process of making the performance.
